Q: What are the new limits available?

A: The new limits available are $3 million for dwelling policies

Q: When can I purchase these higher limits?

A: All policies new or renewing June 15, 2020, can be written with these higher limits. For policies that have not been renewed, you can send in a new application and if issued, cancel your old policy.

Q: What is needed to start the application?

A: Whether you are applying for coverage below or above $1.5 million, a replacement cost estimate is always required. We will also need photographs of the property that you want to be insured.

Q: How many photos are needed?

A: 2 to 4 photos are good, but make sure there is a clear picture of the roof. Photos shouldn’t be blurry or of bad quality. Photos can be from another source like a website or inspector, as long as they are up to date!

Q: What size and format can the files be?

A: Max per file is 20MB. Accepted file formats are: .doc , .pdf , .bmp , .gif , .jpg , .jpeg , .tif , .tiff .
